This week was surprising. II finally got how to do optimization and rates of change. I hope that It is ok that I do the mastery form when I get back from break. It’s going to be awkward finishing the test given that the 2nd part we were supposed to do on Friday. With optimization I finally found out how to solve problem s like it. How I use 2 equations to relate the problems to one another and find the x in terms of the y and plug it back in to find the equation then you take the derivative and find where it crosses 0 and that is the answer. I've always struggled with this and I'm glad that it finally clicked. Rates of change has become really easy I found out the trick to solving those. Now I think I am ready to do the mastery. I'm just really glad that everything is finally clicking with this chapter. The one thing that I’m really worried about is the last part of the quiz. I think that I will be able to do it. But I will not have done any math for a while so I am unsure. Well at least its pretty easy, all we are doing with that really is interpreting the graph and I have all of that stuff in my notes So I think I'm pretty set in that matter. I'm excited for break my parents said that we might go on vacation though Christmas and New Years is pretty nice to. I can't wait to see all of my friends and family again. Overall this has been a pretty interesting week I am glad that everything finally clicked for me.

This week was very difficult. I am worrying about the test  on Monday. I don’t think I am ready. I was lost on most of the concepts introduced. I think it might be my weakness with story problems. Im just not that good with linearization or rates of change. I am studying a lot this weekend so I hope that I will be ready when it comes time to take the test. It looks like it is going to snow. I wish that it snowed on the weekdays not on the weekends. I got my quiz back… well I can’t say it wasn’t as I expected it to be. I’m just not that good at story problems. Optimization was not my strong point. I plan on doing the mastery and hopefully I am able to boost my grade up to where it should be. Its hard for me to understand rates of change its just really difficult to use the mathematical modal in relation to the derivative to find the answer. The good news is I’m starting o understand it and I hope that I will be even better by Monday. I hope that when I take the quiz it would be a lot easier and I will be able to solve it without too much trouble. I hope it ends up being less then the optimization quiz. This week I had tons of homework. The  homework and trying to understand the problems was really difficult. I was also getting a lot of homework from my AP US History class. Hopefully this week it will be a little easier. Overall It has been a very hard week. I hope with chapter 6 coming along it will be easier.

This week was interesting. I liked having only one section to work on. But I didn’t like how difficult it was. I wasn’t able to finish the quiz so I will finish it on Monday. Hopefully I will do well on it. This week I would say was more difficult than the other weeks in this class. The application used everything… This was pretty unlike what we had to deal with before so it was more difficult. I liked the Ted talk this week, especially the 2nd one about the billion dollar IPod. Oh copyright logic. That was a good one to watch and I’m glad we did. Overall I think that because this being a more difficult section and all I am glad that we took more time to look over it. I am glad also how through we were with it. I mean we took a week, we did a lab, and now were doing a project just over optimization. I liked the extra time we took over it but near the end it started to feel a little stretched out. I really liked the group time we took to look over some of the answers. My group I’m lucky to be in. Michael really helped me to understand some of the concepts of optimization. I’m glad that I have him at my table this year. With this being a more difficult subject he was able to make it easier for me. Over all this has been a pretty difficult week. All that I can hope for now is that I am able to finish and do well on my quiz Monday.
